hello everybody,am new here and i want to talk about music.As a keyboard player who works in nightclubs in Greece(am from Greece)usual i have to do with folk and middle east music but that i really like is when west meets east in music.The result is fantastic(see Laco Tayfa).If someone knows other bands who plays that kind of music please let me know.sorry for my English,am trying to learn better

Hi Lefteris,
If this is something of interest to you, I would give Muslimgauze a listen. It is Arabic electronica that draws influences from the Middle East, Africa, India and former states of the U.S.S.R. It can be an acquired taste but you may want to start with the album Betrayal. It is a landmark achievement. Another item of note is that all instruments are played by Bryn Jones. He put out over 200 albums before his death in 1999.

I am from the states and I am living in germany. I would like to talk music with you. I have been to greece a few times. I love it there. good food and good music. I am working on a project.
