Hi Mary,
That's an interesting one....As best as I can see it I would suggest one of two things. The first is to simply put your "hustle" hat on, get on the phone and start talking to performance centers and promoters that would be interested in having the group perform. Since you have some background in booking the group you should already know about having a press kit and demo of the group ready to send to them and that you will probably have to start at either a lower pay scale or on a door deal in order to "get in the door" with the performance centers and promoters.
The other option is to begin exploring hiring an agent who can secure the work for you. Being that your group is not the typical rock band or rapper I would suggest that you contact the William Morris Agency. Before you call them visit their website and try to find the name of an agent that would deal with your general area of music. When you call him/her simply explain your situation to them. Start off by letting them know that your group may not be ready for William Morris to handle but that you wanted to speak with a reputable agent and ask if they can recommend someone for you. They are usually happy to do so, and you never know they may be interested.
When you contact the agent that WM has recommended start off by saying, "Mr. or Ms. so and so from the William Morris Agency suggested that I contact you". This will help open the door for you.
Hope it helps.
