Touring Industry 4 Years, 11 Months ago
Hi,

I am currently a music business student exploring options
for after graduation.

I am looking for some advice about the touring industry. What is
the best way to break into this part of the business?
Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with certain companies?

Thank you!

Yeah Ive done some touring and even though I know people, its still hard. One of the guys I know thats toured and done sound for Madonna and huge names all over the world, just recently quit the touring industry because he said its going down. Lots of people are saying that actually, so I guess theyre saying this isnt the best time to get into it, and its harder now then it was when they were in it to get gigs.
