Arranging/Orchestration Work in Manhattan 10 Months, 1 Week ago
I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me about arranging/orchestration work that is available in the New York metropolitan area. What's available? How hard is it to get work? Do people maybe start as copyists or something?

Any info would be appreciated!

Also, any insight on how the arranging courses here will help train me for those kind of positions would be appreciated. I definitely want to do the orchestration courses, but am wondering if the arranging courses will be worth it to me career-wise.
