I'm an electric bass player of seven years who is just beginning to sight read and learn upright bass. I'm moving down to Portland in a couple of weeks to study music and try and make some money playing.
I'm looking for advice to someone who wants to be able to make a living playing music. What should I be focusing on in my studies, what should I be doing with my compositions, where should I be going, who should I be talking to and what questions have I forgotten to ask?
