I would double check with Admissions but I think you should be fine with the GED.

Hi Antonio,

Thank you for your post. This is Liam McCormack - I am an advisor here at Berkleemusic. In regard to Berkleemusic Online:

Our online courses and online certificates are open to everyone. We have no application and we do not require any previous academic information from our incoming students. Once you know what course(s) or certificate you are interested in, you simply pay/enroll for the course then begin on the upcoming term start date.

Our courses are structured so you do not have to be at a specific location at a specific time to do your work. Online learning can take place anytime of the day or night, anywhere you happen to be. While our courses are rigorous and require you to keep up with your coursework and assignments, you get to choose where and when. That's one of the great advantages of Web-based education. You can incorporate learning into your schedule without compromising your other professional and personal commitments.

Each week, your instructor will post a new lesson. You can log on and work on the material anytime within that week. It should take approximately five to eight hours per week to complete the work, more or less time may be required based on a student's level of experience.

Our courses use video content, audio examples, chat rooms, email communication, interactive exercises, discussion boards, and more for communication, interaction, and instruction.

There are not specific course times each week, you can work on the course work complete based around your schedule. A lesson and assignment is posted each week and the assignment is due at the end of the week.

*You have email access to your instructor throughout the course and you receive weekly feedback from your instructor on the work you do.

Hope this info helps!

For any further questions, I encourage you to contact your personal Student Advisor here, Leigh McLaren, at 617 747 6010 or advisors@berkleemusic.com

Best,

Liam McCormack
