Hello all and thanks for your help.
I'm running Windows 32bit Vista and just installed Protools LE 7.4. Long story for why I don't have PT LE8 since I just installed. But anyway. I can get Protools sessions to play fine but can't seem to route audio from other programs thru the mbox 2 to my speakers. I see the ASIO Digidesign driver listed in the audio preferences in Reason so I know it's there, but when I select it, the sound cuts out and the red X shows up next to the driver name in reason. I also don't even see the mbox 2 as an audio output option for playback when I go into the control panel and select sounds and playback. It just has my internal soundcard listed. I can get all other audio programs to play using the internal sound card that is outputting to my crappy computer speakers from Creative. But I want to use my BX8a speakers for the other programs too. I've checked out digidesign's website and found it to be about as much help as the stapler sitting on my desk due to it's cough, cough...user friendly webdesign. Any suggestions? Thank you!
