Reason 3 Refills 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Help!!! Please!!!
I have Reason 3. I have 4 cd's full of refills.

HOW do i save or download those cd's full of refills so that
they are in reason???

I guess i'm asking how to save refills on cd's to the reason folder?
Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

You don't really have to copy them into the reason folder(C:Program filesPropellerheadReason) for them to work, of course it helps to keep things organized. You just have to copy them to any folder you want and open them in reason by creating a new instrument/combinator or by opening them in the device they were created(only compatible patches will show if you try to open them from an already created device unless you change the visibility tab of course). Hope this helps.

Maurcio, thanks for taking some time to respond. I tried last night ...opened refills on cd, copied to reason folder.
The thing is i can see the new folders in reason ...but there's nothing in the folders.

I guess tonight i will try "moving" or "copying" to desktop, then
try and access the refill from there.

When i open the cd w/refills i can't "download" it or Open it.
So my only options are to move or copy it.

So "EXACTLY" what do i do? Move? Copy? OR ...do i "download", and
if so how???

thanks for any help!!!

Well this is kind of weird, you should try copying them to a new folder and then create a new instrument in reason(ctrl+i or create menu), this should show any available refill as well as it's contents.

Did you purchase Reason 3? I am pretty sure there was a section in the manual on how to use Refills. I will have to go back and check again.

You normally just have to copy the files into a folder of your choice and then look there when you create an instrument.

Simple.....Create a folder on your desktop, then name it, open your CD in file form on your desktop and drag the files to the desktop folder you created. Go to Start > Computer > Programs files > Propellerhead > Reasons > Refills and drop the folder into the refills file. That's assuming you are using a PC if you are on a MAC contact me via my email and I will explain how to do it on a MAC.
