mbp and korg m3 1 Month, 1 Week ago
HI Rob: I ordered the MBP-spec 17/2.8/2x2GB/500/SD/Glsy. Should I increase the memory to optimal 3.06 ? The Korg M3 looks great and it is an oppened system, it should not be getting out of date or be discontinued like some other products. Your comments aboout them for use for my desk top music production course. I am interested in continuing using the key board ,88 weighted keys on my new Korg M3, but I need recommendation for keyboard books from BSM, also I want to start learnig the guitar on my own,I need guitar refence books, rhythm books, music appreciation books, vocal reference books ,I am a fast learner and am hungry to learn. Thanks ! I am thinking to return the mbp from apple and reorder it from Sweatwater as they will setup all the soft ware and configure all soft- ware and make sure they are running smoothly ,and also they have life time tech support. Thank you in advance for your invaluable advise. ! Sincerely Germaine
Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

Hi Germaine,

While upgrading the processor to 3.06Ghz will be ideal, you can stick with the default 2.8 speed and this will still give you plenty of power to run the recording programs that you need. Also, the Korg M3 is an excellent choice. It should give you a lot of flexibility with the sounds you would like to produce and Korg releases new drivers regularly to keep you up to date.

If you are interested in music-related books, I recommend checking out our online store at the following link:

Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.
