plug-ins not showing up in pt 7.4 after reformat 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago
i recently reformatted both hard drives on my mac. i reloaded all of my software. now my line 6 gearbox and my dfh superior wont show up as plug-ins. any ideas?

Seems like I had this problem a while back. Sometimes Pro Tools kicks plugins into the unused folder for no apparent reason.

Try going to C:>Program Files>Common Files>Digidesign>DAE>Plug-Ins (Unused) and seeing if your missing plugs are there. If they are, move BOTH files (.dpm and .dpm.rsr) to C:>Program Files>Common Files>Digidesign>DAE>Plug-Ins. Next time you start Pro Tools, the plugs should show up.

Nevermind...just saw that you are on a Mac. The concept should still be the same, though...I just don't know where you would find the unused plugins folder.
