In the last 26 years Mr. Cherney has distinguished himself as one of the most sought after and respected engineers and producers in the music business. Mr. Cherney's background includes the R&B scene in Chicago, where he began as an apprentice engineer in 1976. His R&B roots served as a solid foundation for his later work with such rock and pop artists as the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, the B-52's, Roy Orbison, Bonnie Raitt, Keb Mo, Billy Joel, Jan Arden, Bob Seger, Steely Dan, the Goo Goo Dolls and Hootie & the Blowfish. His talents have been recognized with 6 Grammy nominations, three of which he won.
