Great music is always more than the sum of its parts. An inspired song, a passionate performance, a polished production: it takes a unique creative catalyst to bring them all together and make magic. Over a career that spans two decades and accounts for an awesome 150 million albums sold, Ballard has relied on an unerring instinct for what makes a song memorable, bringing his own extraordinary composing and production prowess to the mix and transforming potentials and possibilities into music that connects, time and again.

What makes the artistry of Glen Ballard even more impressive is the sheer diversity that it so effortlessly encompasses. As a songwriter and producer and record executive, Glen Ballard has been the decidedly uncommon denominator between Alanis Morrissette and Aerosmith; the Dave Matthews Band and No Doubt; Christina Aguilera and Van Halen...the list, as they say, goes on.

His unprecedented ability to innovate, motivate and stimulate artists of every description reaches back to his groundbreaking work with Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin and a host of others. But Ballard is equally adept in forging new and wholly original musical frontiers. He has recently, for example, produced Testify, the career-defining new album from the hugely influential P.O.D. and was also behind the boards for the eagerly-awaited Let Love In, the first studio album from the Goo Goo Dolls in four years.

Ballard's resume includes six Grammys in a wide range of categories. But among the most significant is Songwriter Of The Year honors from both ASCAP and National Association of Songwriters, which together represent a special acknowledgement from the creative community Ballard has done so much to enhance.
