Getting Inside Harmony 1 and Arranging 1: Rhythm Section, or equivalent knowledge or skill set and facility in either the Finale or Sibelius notation program.

Most assignments will require you to write, score, and record vocal arrangementsboth a cappella and with basic instrumental accompaniment. For each assignment, you will submit the score and a recording of your piece. Your score must be created using Finale 2006 or higher or Sibelius 4 or higher, or hand-written, scanned, and saved as a PDF file. For your recording, you must supply an MP3 file. You can choose to record either yourself singing or use other vocalists. Instrumental accompaniment should include guitar or piano at a minimum, either recorded or created using music production software. In addition to these requirements, you will also need the following:
