Thomas Rudolph, Ed. D., is the Director of Music for the School District of Haverford Township, in Havertown, Pennsylvania, and an adjunct Assistant Professor at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He was one of the founders of the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME) and is now serving as the president of this organization. He has trained thousands of music professionals at many institutions, including Berklee College of Music, Central Connecticut State University, The University of the Arts, and Villanova University.
Dr. Rudolph has authored several books, including Sibelius: A Comprehensive Guide, Finale: An Easy Guide to Music Notation, Recording in the Digital World, Teaching Music with Technology, and Finding Funds for Music Technology. He was also one of four co-authors of the publication, Technology Strategies for Music Education. His articles on music technology have appeared in the Music Educators Journal, The Instrumentalist, Jazz Educator Journal, and Downbeat. He is a regular contributor to the magazine, Music Education Technology. He has consulted with dozens of companies, including Apple, KORG, SoundTree, Roland, Bose Corporation, and many others.
