Your Online Orientation

Our goal is to provide our students with the best online education experience possible. Since Berkleemusic was established in 2003, we've succeeded in creating a worldwide online community of musicians that we are truly proud of.

Before you begin your studies with us, we'd like to point out some of the essential features that we've developed to help you make your time with us as rewarding as possible.

Getting Started

Prior to your course commencing, you will be able to view the "Getting Started" section, which is located at the beginning of each online course. This intro will walk you through the necessary background information you'll need to effectively participate in your course, notify you if any books or software are required for the course, and explain the grading procedures.

You will receive an email from the Continuing Education Registrar to let you know that your course is open. Please note that the course lessons will not be available until you receive this message.

My Home

The starting point for your Berkleemusic online education experience is your "My Home" page. In addition to being the entry point for your courses, your "My Home" page is also the place to schedule classes, stay connected to the Berklee Music Network (our professional community of musicians worldwide), resolve a computer issue, apply for a job, request a transcript, order course materials, and more.

Student Advisors

Each student who enrolls with Berkleemusic is assigned a personal Student Advisor who will be in contact with you throughout your course or program, and is available to help you at any point along the way. Advisors can be reached by:
